With upcoming 2018 dates, including Planet Rock’s own Winter’s End Festival in Dorset and a support slot for legendary prog-rock band Hawkwind, it is no wonder that Erin Bennett has been garnering ever-increasing attention across the British music scene, as well as worldwide. Following a recent UK tour showcasing material from her upcoming album ‘Post-Sexy Post-Truth’ - a direct gut-punch to trite politically correct expectations of women and sexuality everywhere - Erin has secured critical acclaim from publications and radio stations across the country. Each performance from Erin and her virtuosic backing band showcases her unique, prog-inspired brand of synth and bass driven dark rock. Her backing band, the EB Band, comprises talented musicians equalling her own incredible skill. Backing singers Suna and Kitty, bassist Dog and keyboardist Nikki are all former members of British rock sensation Rockbitch, who made headlines throughout the nineties and toured internationally, selling out at numerous venues. On drums, Anna Fraser, music graduate of Napier University, blazes a ferocious rhythmic trail which underpins the entire explosive experience. Between the atmospheric choreography and harmonies, the unstoppable rhythmic backbone and unforgettable keyboard hooks, Erin’s own undeniable expertise as a frontwoman shines through, highlighted as much by her incredible stage presence and charisma as her prowess as a musician. Erin Bennett will perform across the UK in 2018 to promote ‘Post-Sexy Post-Truth’, as well as performing live on radio and at select acoustic in-store, record store dates.
